No, we are simply a group of women who get together four times a year to help support local charities. All meetings are held in facilities that are generously donated and the work of our founding team is all done on a volunteer basis, free of charge. There are no membership dues and 100% of our donations go directly to the winning charities.. 100+ Women Who Care does not process any payments such as credit or debit cards, all checks are written directly to the charities. You must bring a blank check, money order or cash to the meetings.
Nope. Your obligation as a member is to attend four one-hour meetings per year and write a $100 check at each meeting.
If you cannot attend a meeting, but still want to contribute, you can send a blank, signed check with a trusted friend to the meeting (preferred) and the friend will write the name of the charity that is chosen on the check and give to the organizers that evening. Or, you can make arrangements to mail the check, made out to the chosen charity, within one week after the meeting. Checks can be mailed to Frontida at 702 57th St, Kenosha, WI 53140 Attn: Carin Schulz
The goal of the 100+ Women Who Care organization is to make a large donation on behalf of the group. We want to be able to support this endeavor and give $10,000+ at a time to make a large impact on our community, with each members donation being a part of the larger donation.
One of the requirements is that you agree to donate to whichever charity receives the majority vote.
